Later married Sarah Clark, had several children, then was one of the first settlers of Lancaster MA. Returned to Dorchester during King Philip's War in 1675 and died there in 1678.
Son Thomas became a citizen of Marlborough MA after fighting in Philip's War. He married Elizabeth Williams, daughter of tavern keeper Abraham Williams. Their son, Eleazar Beeman was one of the young unmarried men at the time of Westboro's settling its minister in 1724. Eleazar died in 1750 at the age of 67. John Murray Rachel Bixby Maine "John Murray m. Rachel Bixby who may have been previously married to Wm. Huse Stevens in Salem,NH. Rachel was daughter of Benjamin Bixby, JR. and Anne Bradstreet. John and Rachel resided in HARTLAND, VT. prior to 1810. Immigrated to Leeds, ME area. Their son, Benjamin Bixby Murray was a Universalist Minister in and around Southern & So.Western Maine. Benj. was born in Hartland about 1790/2. Other children in this family were Amos, Samuel,Eunice, Rachel, and John,Jr..(Amos may have been Rachel's child by Wm.Huse Stevens.) The family resided in Leeds, ME; Greene, ME; and Turner,ME. I can find no records of the deaths of John and Rachel. Their grandson, Benj.Bixby Murray, JR. was a Civil War General from the State of Maine; served in the Maine State Senate; was a lawyer; lived in Calais area; died circa 1906 and is buried in Mayflower Cemetery,Duxbury, MA. Search Revolutionary War Service Records, 1775-83   This database is a collection of records kept by the National Archives listing men who fought for the colonies during the war.  This database contains only those records available in the National Archives and may not include all persons involved in the American Revolutionary War.  Compiled Military Service Records (CMSR)Each volunteer soldier has one Compiled Military Service Record (CMSR) for each regiment in which he served.

Search Colonial Families in the U.S.   This database covers the families of the early English colonies in America. Beginning with the first landing at Jamestown this series covers families up through the start of the American Revolutionary War and beyond into the Nineteenth Century. Many vital records are included, as well as locations of births, marriages, and deaths. In addition to containing family genealogies this database also contains armorial bearings, or coats of arms, for some of the more prominent families from England and Scotland. 

Old Colony Ancestors Online   Access this database of nearly 200,000 names with roots in Southeastern Massachusetts, complete with citations, containing information on over 57,000 marriages, with a total of more than 950,000 text records. Some families are followed for only 2-3 generations, but many are traced for up to 15 generations. Once a family moved beyond the Southeastern Massachusetts area, most reports stop. Some are followed as they migrated westward into the Berkshires and up into Vermont and upstate New York.
