Benjamin Wheeler b 1772 Hardy VA m 1797 Rachael Harris b abt 1780 where?. Rachael died during the War of 1812 and Benj was drafted into the War but had 7? children to look after-James, Benjamin, Nehemiah, John, William, Thomas so the town paid for a replacement for him. Later abt 1815 the family moved to Licking OH. Where my ggggf John grew up and m Nancy A Robinson b 1811 MD. There seem to be some confusion abt parents & Benj died with no children. In 1684 James Heath was traveling to Maryland, as being a Jacobite Loyalist. October 21, 1687 he was granted 550 acres for transporting 11 persons to the Colony.
I don't know where in England he was born, possibly Bedfordshire.

My thought is that her name was Tamsen d/o Thomas Nettleton and cousin wife, Tamsen. I believe she may have lived with her husband in his family of Amos Nettleton up in Rensselaer County by abt 1790. I was shortly after the census was taken that they came to Leeds/Grenville, Ontario, Canada. I don't know if you can help or maybe put me in touch who could help me.

He served at the Battle of King's Mountain (Oct 1780). His wife was a cousin to Rebecca Bryan, wife of Daniel Boone. Bazel Boren explored Kentucky and Tennessee with Boone and the Long HUnters and settled in Robertson Co. Tenn. where he was a Justice and the first Register. He sat on the bench with his close friend Andrew Jackson (later Preiedent of the United States).

Old Colony Ancestors Online
Access this database of
nearly 200,000 names with roots in Southeastern Massachusetts, complete
with citations, containing information on over 57,000 marriages, with a
total of more than 950,000 text records. Some families are followed for
only 2-3 generations, but many are traced for up to 15 generations. Once
a family moved beyond the Southeastern Massachusetts area, most reports
stop. Some are followed as they migrated westward into the Berkshires
and up into Vermont and upstate New York.
